Bosley

Bosley is gentle, lovely, chill and stylish handsome little furry friend. This shoot was a birthday gift package, I’ve got an email last week saying she wanted to book me a session as a gift to her friend here in Tokyo. We went back and forth emailing trying to figure out details and finally fixed out location at Yoyogi Park. if you haven’t been, Yoyogi Park is located next to Meiji Shrine, it became a public park in 1967, after serving as the site for the 1964 Olympic Village, when the Summer Games were held in Tokyo. The park is really popular, especially on Sundays that family and friends can get together having picnic, yoga practice, jogging, hobbyist gathering, it is also great park to enjoy the cherry blossom during spring season. Also, park is super dog friendly and that’s the reason we’d chosen there to shoot.

We arrived in the morning when there were less busy, Bosley had already dressed up in his Supreme sweatshirt and ready to go. We walked around took shots here and there and stopped by a cheery blossom tree and did a glamour shot in front, it was such a blast. Bosley was quite easy going and effortless to work with, one small dog treat would do the trick.

If you are interested in my pet photography service for your four legged friend, please don’t hesitate to contact me, or the session could be purchased as a gift and send to someone you care about.

Year of the pig

It was my first time taking photos for pig and definitely not an easy models to work with, they are loud, chaotic, love chewing my camera bags LOL, but adorable at the same time. Also I am interested working with animals more often from now on, this was a good opportunity for me.

On top of that, it's the year of pig, let's give them a big applause as they deserve some beautiful pictures.

Proposal in Tokyo

Lately I’ve been doing quite a few proposal photography in Tokyo and specially inside the beautiful Shinjuku Gyoen. Although it was rather a short 30 minutes photo session, Andrew and I spoke over the phone along with the Flytographer team week ago to plan out this once in a life time moment. On the shoot day we Whatsapp each other to make sure everything was going to be on schedule…So we all arrived to the designated spot and Andrew gave me a cue then I started shooting, everything went well and smooth. These are the priceless moment that we will never forget. Congratulations to Andrew and Monica again.

Travel back to Tokyo

It’s always feeling funny to take pictures for another photographer, specially in the same genre, travelled from Salt Lake City, Utah, Caitie Lockhart is a professional wedding photographer. She was actually attended middle school and high school in Tokyo, she lived in Roppongi and Kichijoji. It was her first time back in 10 years and it’s her husband's first time visiting. Since she is a professional photographer and always hated that she’s never in any of her vacation photos. So she booked a session via Flytographer to capture her and her husband Nick in Tokyo.

Session was taken place in her “hood” Kichijoji, it sure did bring up some good old memories.
